Training Sequence Expectations Roles/Positions

PIR Educators

PIR Educators play a vital role in the Program on Intergroup Relations and may be involved in a number of roles and positions within our program. PIR Educators are a student committee devoted to improving multicultural awareness and promoting respect for diversity on the University of Illinois campus.  The group typically consists of 12 to 16 students.

Our training classes are offered for 3 credit hours through the Psychology department. We have a three course training sequence that allows students to earn credit hours while they learn about and gain experience with facilitating diverse groups.
